Stratus has provided environmental engineering services to the New Haven Unified School District (District) at their corporation yard since 2013.
Stratus began groundwater monitoring and reporting for the District during the fourth quarter of 2013, and conducted semiannual monitoring and reporting through the second quarter of 2017.
Stratus prepared a work plan for additional site assessment work along with a sensitive receptor survey to address the data gaps remaining LTCP consideration. Those gaps included: defining the aerial extent of the methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) plume, assessment of the potential presence of petroleum fuel related volatile and semi volatile organic compounds within the upper ten feet of the soil at the site, and the possible presence of water supply wells within a 2,000 feet radius of the site. The sensitive receptor survey portion of the work was completed and no water supply wells were identified in the records provided by the Alameda County Water District (ACWD).
